Struan Lodge
brings you the utmost in comfort, with 8 twin bedrooms, a spacious open plan dining/living area and well equipped kitchen providing luxury group accommodation for up to 18 guests.
The bedrooms are all forward facing to allow wonderful views over Loch Brora. With comfortable beds and ensuite bathrooms they offer the utmost in luxury. All bar one of the bathrooms provide a shower over the bath, the other has a walk in wet room, to allow accessibility to less able bodied persons. Accommodation is pet friendly.
The combined lounge and dining room is designed in such a way to provide a very spacious living area, which, owing to the full length glass windows to the front gives unlimited views of the loch and the impressive Carrol Rock on the far side. The large oak dining table allows you to sit together and enjoy your meals in style.
The roomy, very well equipped kitchen means that you can cater for larger groups with ease, whether its for family holidays, private parties, functions, conference meetings, team building weekends, whatever the event, you can do it all here. The front of the building is surrounded with larch decking, where you can sit out and enjoy the evening air and sounds of nature whilst having a dram of your favorite tipple. There is a TV with Free-sat, a telephone and two-way satellite broadband to keep in touch with friends and relatives, should they not have been able to join you.
The Bothy
An additional bothy, which was once a cooks bothy for the main house and is one of the oldest buildings on the estate, has been renovated and provides an extra twin room, with an en-suite bathroom, this allows us to take up to 18 guests at a time.
All bedding, linen, towels etc are supplied in the cost of your booking, fuel for the wood burning stove is in plentiful supply.
Outside there is ample parking space for cars, a substantial grassed area for children to play and dogs to run around with the secure knowledge that the property is fully fenced in. A cattle grid provides access without the need to worry about a gate being left open.
There are four separate kennels within an external building which are intended for the use of anyone bringing their dogs.
In the summer months there is also the opportunity to use the rowing boat on the loch, lifejackets are on hand to ensure your utmost safety.
