Brora

Struan Lodge is 6 miles from the local village, Brora, which has one large supermarket, a chemist, doctors, several other smaller shops selling a variety of hardware and gifts, newsagent, cafes, Chinese takeaway, fuel stations and repair garages and a couple of Hotels. There is also a very good Indian Restaurant.

TripAdvisor recommends visiting Loch Brora as one of the main attractions and gives it 5 star rating.

Clynelish Distillery is located nearby with beautiful views of the North Sea and the hills to the north – where the Clynemilton burn runs over seams of gold in the rock. With this water, Clynelish distillery produces a fruity, waxy, slightly smoky single malt.
